Vincentian Marian Youth

Vincentian Marian Youth (or VMY) is an extracurricular activity open to 5th- 8th grade students. VMY is an international association of young people that is focused on developing youth’s relationships with Jesus Christ, Mary, each other, and the poor. This branch of the Vincentian family has a chapter at Mother of Sorrows School that focuses on three key components:

• Allowing time for prayer
• Service to others
• Community among members

VMY members participate in a variety of community-building, prayer-centered, and service activities such as:

• Leading our school community in Prayerful activities
• Dia de Los Muertos Altar
• Advent Gift Raising for Ghana and Nigeria 
• Participating in Beach Clean-up Events 
• Participating in Vincentian Family Service Days
